Hope for Pakistan
The people of Pakistan are near and dear to our hearts. Right now, they are facing one of the worst flooding disasters in decades—3.3 million people affected, 1.3 million displaced, and thousands of villages submerged as the Sutlej, Chenab, and Ravi Rivers overflow and waters rush in from India. With over 850 lives lost and more than 1,000 people injured, the devastation continues to spread as communities fight to survive. Our hearts are broken for Pakistan. But right now, we can do something to help!
Pastor Rehan and the team have been quick to respond and jump into action. They are currently in Kasur, which is one of the cities hit hardest by flooding. Kasur is where our church is located and where the vast majority of our work in Pakistan takes place. Over 2,000 villages are underwater there, and many of our church families have been affected. We are also connected to hundreds of other families in surrounding villages that are now displaced.
Our team is diligently serving our church families and doing everything they can to help the communities around them by distributing food, blankets, and emergency supplies to families in desperate need. Our goal is to help as many people as possible in the coming days.
