History

In April 2004, Dr. Pete Sulack traveled with some friends to Arusha, Tanzania, for an outreach event.  One night after the festival his friends prayed over him, and the Lord impressed a powerful vision upon Dr. Pete’s heart to reach out to the lost and dying in the world with the life-saving message of Jesus Christ.

Since then, Dr. Pete has founded Matthew 10 International Ministries with the mission of bringing 100 million people to Jesus through the ministry.  Matthew 10 now holds outreach festivals in India, and has reached out to major cities such as Rajamundry, Kurnool, Amalapuram, Warangal and Nellore.  Proclaiming the Good News is the central focus of each festival, along with food distribution and ministry to widows.

During a visit to India in 2005, Dr. Pete, through his relationship with Manna Ministries and Bishop Ernest Komanapalli, learned about 150 children who were orphaned because of the tsunami in 2004. Dr. Pete immediately took on the care of these orphans, and the Matthew 10 team has been mobilized to provide a loving home for these children where they can receive education, grow up learning about the love of Jesus, and have the opportunity to move on to trade school or Bible college.  Every life transformed by Matthew 10’s orphan care ministry is a step toward completing its mission of seeing 100 million lives transformed by coming to know Jesus.

Now, Matthew 10 is looking forward to expanding its reach to include U.S. outreach festivals; festivals in Spanish-speaking countries and communities; and outreach through television, radio, and many other media projects.  Matthew 10 International Ministries is looking forward to what the Lord will accomplish for His glory as the ministry stays true to its mission of bringing 100 million people to believe in Jesus.
